觉民村是紫金县凤安镇所辖的行政村。百度百科的钟丁先条目说，明末解元钟丁先隐居的永坑村，后来改名觉民村。[2][1]

历史沿革[edit]

觉民大队1958年属蓝塘公社，1961年属凤安公社，1982年之前一直是大队；此后的名称依次是乡、村委会、管理区，1999年设村民委员会。[1][1]

名称由来[edit]

博雅地名网对村名另有解释：革命早期地下党曾在这一带活动，群众觉悟较高，因此得名。[1] 这与钟丁先一说不同，两说并列。钟丁先号忏云，在彼岸庵度过晚年。[2]
