凤安镇在河源市紫金县西南部，东面与蓝塘、义容两镇相邻，南接上义镇，西连好义镇，北靠古竹镇，镇域约130平方千米。[1] 镇名来自镇政府驻地的地形，形如凤凰，又含安定之意。[2] 2018年末户籍人口27956人；辖1个社区、11个行政村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期，凤安一带归古名都下石社（约）。1929年（民国十八年）编入第一区安石乡，1941年又改隶上安乡。[2] 新中国成立初期，这里分属紫金县第二区和第六区。[2] 设凤安乡在1957年12月；次年10月它被并入蓝塘公社，直至1961年4月才重新分出，成立凤安公社。[2] 1983年9月改社为区，1987年4月区改为镇。[2]

镇下各村的前身是公社所属的大队：1983年改称乡，1987年起设村民委员会，1989年成管理区，1999年区撤销，重设村民委员会，延续至今。[2] 东龙村则是1999年由东塘、黄龙两个管理区合并而成。[2]

地理环境[edit]

凤安镇距紫金县城56千米，镇政府设在文明路1号，气候属亚热带季风气候。[1] 博雅地名网记载，惠州至五华的省道穿过镇境。[2]

人口民族[edit]

百度百科记载，2018年末全镇户籍人口27956人；第七次全国人口普查（2020年）的统计，博雅地名网列为约1.6万人，在全县各乡镇中排第11位。[1][2]

经济[edit]

据博雅地名网，镇内农业以水稻、花生、小麦、甘蔗为主，林木有松、杉；无核柿、杂交猪苗、三黄鸡是当地的土特产。工业有农机修理、中药加工和采矿，中药红山栀经本镇加工后销往海外；鸡笼山钨矿已开采60多年。[2] 百度百科列出的2014年数据：地区生产总值3.69亿元，农业产值1.83亿元居首，第三产业1.45亿元，工业0.41亿元。[1]

文化[edit]

百度百科提到的民俗活动有三圣宫、龙王爷和关老爷的出会，还有醒狮队，并称这里形成了「十里不同风，百里不同俗」的局面。[1] 凤安镇2019年度获「广东省卫生镇」称号，授予时间为2020年2月。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

下石村和觉民村一带有明代解元钟丁先的故居彼岸庵和他的墓。[1] 据百度百科，钟丁先生于1613年，卒于1672年；他在明崇祯末年的广东乡试里考得第一名，清军入关后散家财募兵抗清，战败后削发住进凤安的彼岸庵，终老庵中。他隐居过的永坑村，后来改称觉民村。[3]
