高塘村是河源市源城区东埔街道辖下的行政村，位置在区的东北角，紧邻东源县城。[1] 当地居民多姓高，房屋多建在山腰，四周低洼如一口池塘，村名据此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放之年的1949年这里设高塘乡，1958年成了高塘大队，1984年复设乡；其后建制几经更迭：1988年有了村委会，1994年改为管理区，1999年管理区取消，村委会恢复并一直沿用。[1]

地理与人口[edit]

全村约27平方千米，其中耕地约800亩，山林7000亩。村民分6个小组（高屋山、杨梅坪、黄沙、长吉、楼下、毛埔），747户、3698人，有党员87人。[1]

经济与荣誉[edit]

广东省农业农村厅在2020年8月公布的首批「“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」中，高塘村以茶树菇上榜；2021年1月，河源市文明委又授予它「2020年度河源市文明村」称号。[1]
