下角社区是河源市源城区上城街道下辖的社区，因地处老城区边角、地势又低而名下角，辖区约0.45平方千米。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

社区由源城区人民政府批准，于1990年设立；另一说法是成立于2002年5月，博雅地名网两处记载不一。[1]

社区概况[edit]

辖区东到滨江大道，南到公园东路，西到公园路，北到中山路，分6个居民小组，有1160户4530人，驻区单位15个，其中学校1所、幼儿园2所。社区党总支有党员68人。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，进入广东省2018年度民主法治示范村（社区）创建名单；2025年3月，认定为2025年度河源市绿色社区。[1]
