铜锣湖农场在陆丰市东部，是一个国有农场，同时作为乡级单位由陆丰市管辖，下设3个社区、5个行政村。它东邻惠来县，西与内湖镇相接，南面是南塘镇和汕尾市华侨管理区，北面是陂洋镇，场部在国道324线350公里处。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

据百度百科，农场1955年6月开办，起先隶属葵潭机械农场，到1958年才单独设置。1966年改称国营红湖农场，1981年恢复旧名，1993年起冠以省名，称广东省铜锣湖农场；而2020年12月改制后，单位名称为广东农垦铜锣湖农场有限公司。[1]博雅地名网麻竹坑村一页则记载，农场建于1957年，当时按序号分区，麻竹坑一带为第三区，两处说法并不一致。[3]

1974年农场体制下放，各区分设管理区，此后沿用管理区的称呼；2022年3月，这些管理区陆续改称村民委员会或社区居民委员会，形成现在的3个社区和5个行政村。[3][4][5]

地理环境[edit]

全场面积59.22平方千米；博雅地名网所收的概况写作总人口12061人，下设4个专业管区和5个农管区，应是较早年代的数字。[2][6]百度百科记2020年常住人口14538人，另有1个桂坑分场。[1]

经济[edit]

农场的产业主要是橡胶、水果与养殖，场内的汽车零配件市场在粤东规模最大，有“汽车配件城”之称；百度百科称2022年全场社会总产值为15.53亿元。[1]博雅地名网的概况写于上世纪九十年代中期，当时橡胶基地533公顷，年产天然橡胶250吨；水果基地668公顷，年产9000吨；肉鸡年出栏77万只；速生桉林约300公顷；1994年全场的工农业总产值为3636万元，人均每年收入1518元。[6]
