石东村位于广东省汕尾市陆丰市桥冲镇东面，离镇政府约3千米。东面与湖石村接壤，西面与禾潭村的东山相邻。村委会由井洪、井杨两个自然村组成，设两个村民小组，博雅地名网所载总人口3056人。[1]

地理与产业[edit]

村内以丘陵为主，乌坎港的一条支流穿过村境，养殖以鱼、虾为主。农业种植水稻、花生、番薯、荔枝、芝麻。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

土改时它是南塘区的石东乡。1958年变成石东大队，划在南塘公社。1973年，石东改归桥冲公社。[1]

1983年称石东乡，隶桥冲区；1987年称村委会，隶桥冲乡；1994年成为管理区，隶桥冲镇；1999年又是村委会，名字一直沿用。[1]

1995年，湖石、三湖、尖山、南景四个自然村从石东管理区划出，另设湖石管理区。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2023年5月，石东村被评为「2022年广东省卫生村」。[1]
