深溪村是陆丰市潭西镇的行政村，位于螺河下游，面积约12平方千米，辖5个自然村，据博雅地名网总人口6988人，距镇政府2.5千米，距市区12千米。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

公社化时，深沟、赤围、溪美三片共8个自然村合编为深溪大队。赤围片在1973年分出另设大队；溪美片则在1980年与新溪村组成新美大队，深沟和曾厝围两村留下自成一队。[1]

此后1984年改乡，1987年起为村委会，1994年曾称农村管理区，1999年又改回村委会。2015年，赤坎寨、李厝围、赤坎头3个自然村划出，村名未变。[1]

经济与荣誉[edit]

村民种红薯和水稻，也有淡水养殖和家畜饲养。[1]

广东省爱卫会于2020年12月和2023年5月两次授予该村省卫生村称号，年度分别是2020年和2022年。[1]
