崎头村是陆丰市潭西镇的行政村，邻近海丰县，分3个村民小组，据博雅地名网总人口3923人，距陆丰市区21千米，是镇里最偏远的村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

崎头曾是东崎乡的乡址（1957年），后来在1961至1963年间做过东崎公社的驻地。[1]

东山村于1966年分出，崎头随之单设大队；1983年两村又合为东崎乡，1987年再次拆开，崎头成立村委会。1994年村级组织称管理区，1999年重新叫村委会。[1]

经济与荣誉[edit]

山地上种植生态林，水田种水稻和红薯，并养淡水鱼。村委会至今没有自建办公地点，暂借旧学校的房子办公。[1]

2020年12月，获广东省爱卫会授予的「2020年广东省卫生村」称号；2019年9月，列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
