草洋村是汕尾市陆丰市陂洋镇的行政村，面积约10平方公里，距镇政府10公里，被汕尾市认定为贫困村[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
草洋的隶属多次反复：新中国成立后归双坑乡，公社化后归双坑大队；1961年单立草洋大队，1963年并回双坑；1976年重新分立，1983年又并入双坑乡；到1987年才再度划出，成为草洋村委会，1994年称管理区，1999年复称村委会[1]。
经济[edit]
村里总人口1600多人，属丘陵地貌，早年以水稻为主，现在山地种荔枝、龙眼，水田种水稻、蔬菜并养鸡鸭[1]。草洋村在2024年3月获命名「2023年广东省卫生村」[1]。
