东七村是广东省汕尾市陆丰市大安镇西北部的行政村，下辖11个自然村，因七个村庄合称“七乡”而得名。[1]新中国成立前后这里是游击队的根据地。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据村情介绍，明朝中期林姓先祖自海丰县迁入赵家铺；清朝中期，竹围、甘园、丁山楼等村从赵家铺分出，竹山、围仔寨、坎石潭则在清代陆续迁来，七村合称“七乡”。[1]解放前后，这里是游击队的根据地。此后设管理区，到1999年才改称村委会。[1]

经济[edit]

村有耕地二千多亩，因水利设施失修，大部分田地荒废。村情介绍称总人口三千八百多，种稻为主，旱地种木薯、花生，山地种速生桉，村集体经济没有收入。[1]
