磁西村是广东省汕尾市陆丰市大安镇西南方向的行政村，沿大安至西南镇的公路分布，下辖12个自然村，山地居多。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1952年设磁西乡，属第九区（大安区）；1958年成磁西大队；1983年复称乡；1987年为磁西村委会；1994年改作磁古管理区；1999年恢复磁西村委会之名，沿用至今。[1]

概况[edit]

村情介绍称，村域约30平方千米，地处丘陵低洼地，总人口4764人；多数人外出经商、打工，在家的以种水稻等为主，村委会没有集体经济收入。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，磁西村名列广东省2018年“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位；2021年12月，被广东省爱国卫生运动委员会评为省卫生村。[1]
