梅田村在汕尾市陆丰市碣石镇西南，下辖2个自然村，面积约10平方公里，靠金碣沿海公路北侧。[1][2]

博雅地名网载，全村2600人，处丘陵山岗，耕地少，发展海水养殖、山地造林和水稻、杂粮种植。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

建国初，梅田同桂林、霞博并为桂梅小乡；1959年脱离桂林大队，与霞博合设霞梅大队；1976年单立，为碣北公社梅田生产大队；1983年又同霞博合为霞梅乡，1987年4月分开，设碣北镇梅田村委会。1994年称农村管理区，1999年定名碣石镇梅田村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]明万历年间，洪舍氏来此居住，称洪舍围；新中国成立前改名梅田。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2026年1月，梅田村获评广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村；2020年12月，评为2020年度广东省卫生村。[1]
