草洋村在汕尾市陆丰市碣石镇北面，属丘陵地带，下辖4个自然村，离镇区约4公里。[1][2]

人口民族[edit]

博雅地名网载，全村3600多人，旱地800多亩、水田200多亩，只种庄稼，缺少水利，作物靠雨水。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

康熙年间，许厝寮、油车村、童厝、肖厝、黄厝、狮村、柑园七个自然村陆续建立，合称草洋乡。新中国成立后归碣石区角洋乡，1978年成为碣北公社的草洋大队，1987年4月起称碣北镇草洋村委会，1994年为管理区，1999年定名碣石镇草洋村村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2020年12月，草洋村被广东省爱国卫生运动委员会评为2020年度广东省卫生村；2019年9月，列入2018年度广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位。[1]
