人口民族[edit]
据博雅地名网，村里有2985人，分属516户。耕地一千五百余亩，其中水田四百多亩，另有山坡地数千亩；村中水利设施尚不完备，集体经济底子薄。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
这段沿革在博雅地名网上误挂于上洋村名下。土地改革时期，曾厝和今天的莲花村同属一个莲花小乡。到1958年，曾厝从莲花乡析出，成立大队，归碣北公社管辖。1983年改制时，它重新并进莲花乡（碣北区），四年后的1987年再次单独设立村民委员会，归碣北镇。此后1994年一度称管理区，1996年碣北镇并入碣石镇，1999年复称村委会。[3]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，该村成为2018年度广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”的创建单位；次年12月，又获省爱国卫生运动委员会授予2020年度“广东省卫生村”称号。[1]
