北城村在汕尾市陆丰市碣石镇北郊，没有自然村，村民分散居住在镇区；土地的九成以上已被征用，建成住宅区、办公场所和学校。[1][2]

人口民族[edit]

博雅地名网载，全村1930人，下分9个村民小组（沿用人民公社时期的9个生产队）；村民没有土地可种，多数在外地打工做生意，村委会靠出租物业增加集体收入。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

新中国成立后为第六区（碣石区）的城郊小乡；1958年并入碣石公社的城郊大队；1965年该大队一分为二，成为南城、北城两个大队，这里是北城大队。1983年称北城农管区，1987年设村委会，1994年称管理区，1999年又为村委会，沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

北城村在2020年12月被广东省爱国卫生运动委员会评为2020年度广东省卫生村。[1]
