历史沿革[edit]

蔡姓先祖在明朝中叶自陆丰市的下灶东窑村迁来，建起此村。新中国成立后，灶背、田头园、围仔、乌坭、下汕尾5村合为海英大队；1987年围仔从海英村委会分出，另设围仔村委会，1994年改称管理区，1999年复为村委会，沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

围仔村在2020年12月被广东省爱国卫生运动委员会评为2020年度广东省卫生村。[1]
