夏陇村是陆丰市河西街道的行政村，在街道北部，辖8个自然村，村域面积13平方公里，总人口5262人。[1][2]清云山定光寺位于村境内。[5]

历史沿革[edit]

新中国成立后，该村称下陇乡，属第二区（潭西区）；1958年至1969年称下陇大队，先后属潭西公社、河西公社。1983年复称下陇乡，属河西区，1987年改下陇村委会，1994年称管理区，1999年更名为夏陇村委会。[1][2]

革命历史[edit]

据百度百科，夏陇属革命老区：1925年成立农会，1927年组建农民自卫军中队，先后参与陆丰的三次武装起义；1948年秋初，海陆丰人民自卫队东北大队有一个中队暂住在村中的李氏祖祠。[2]

经济[edit]

村民种植速生林；该村建有500亩水稻病虫绿色防控示范区，并发展丝苗米品牌。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2020年12月，该村获「2020年广东省卫生村」称号，并被列入2020年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]2026年10月，全国老龄工作委员会办公室公布的全国示范性老年友好型社区名单中有夏陇村；村里设有居家养老服务站和幸福食堂，长者、五保户、留守老人可免费就餐。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

清云山定光寺原名清云寺，始建于明崇祯四年（1631年），1985年获批为宗教活动场所，设有广东省尼众佛学院。寺院情况见河西街道。[4][5]
