黄羌社区设在黄羌镇政府所在地，辖区1.7平方千米，分东、中、西三个居民小组。[1]

社区范围包括大街、上横街、下横街、鱼街、后尾角街、猪仔街、新街顶，以及新、老两处市场，并含罗輋路至长湖潭大桥、长湖潭大桥至中学路两侧。县道X126从辖区穿过，向各方分别通往海丰县城、公平镇、高潭镇、平东镇和陆河县。户籍874户2260人，常住1064人。[1]

历史事件[edit]

1927年10月，南昌起义军招兵代表刘立道到黄羌圩会见海陆丰县委负责人；10月21日夜，农军在圩外合围南犯的国民党军，这一仗被称为黄羌保卫战。[2]
