新德村是汕尾市海丰县大湖镇的行政村，位于大德山下，以种植为生，辖埔羌村、洪厝园、大德三个自然村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

新德原隶大德乡（1950年，六区），后随赤坑区的大德大队；1964年分立新德大队，1965年划归大湖公社。其后依次为乡（1984年）、村委会（1987年）、管理区办事处（1989年），1998年回到村委会的体制。[2]

经济与人口[edit]

总人口1338多人，710多人在外。耕地合计1150多亩，水田占800多亩；另有山坡地500多亩可开发，山林330多公顷。[1]近年引进番石榴、红肉柚，新德红肉柚曾在县电视台推介。[1]2021年9月，省农业农村厅公布第二批专业村名单（“一村一品、一镇一业”），新德村以红心蜜柚入选。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2022年1月，省乡村振兴局把它列为2021年度乡村治理示范村创建单位；2023年5月，获省爱卫会授予2022年度省卫生村；2026年1月，被评为省第二批“百千万工程”典型村。[2]
