联英村（博雅地名网称联英许厝村）在联安镇西部，距镇政府约6公里，下辖11个自然村。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

村史介绍，许厝村一支的二世祖从联安下许村迁来，因姓许而名许厝村，距今400多年；六世祖一支迁往惠东，九世祖一支迁到邻近的港尾寮村。新中国成立后，这里曾有苦厝村、后湖仔村、港美寮细乡等叫法，又因土改和人民公社时期与相邻的卓厝村并为卓厝生产队，也被叫作卓厝村，现名联英许厝村。[3]

沿革[edit]

联英大队于1959年从和平大队分出；1984年改乡，1987年设联英村委会，1989年称管理区办事处，1998年恢复村委会。[2]

地理与经济[edit]

面积约2平方千米；自然村有霞芳寮、夏笏肚、横排、林厝坡、桥仔头、英厝寮、湖口、后湖、东燕谭、卓厝、港尾寮。联柴公路经过村中，向东通镇政府，向西通梅陇镇。总户数350余户，总人口1780余人，常住约100人，村内有养殖厂1间。[1]博雅地名网称村集体收入每年约1.1万元，村民靠耕种为生，种水稻、蔬菜、番薯、西兰花。[3]

革命史[edit]

大革命失败后，联英与田心、友爱等乡建立临时党支部，保障游击区的给养并掩护伤员。[4]
