坣头村坐落在长沙湾北岸，位于联安镇的东南，隔海对着汕尾城区，与梅陇农场相邻，面积约0.98平方千米。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
建国初期属十区友冲乡，随后归渡头区。公社时期随友冲乡编为友冲大队，1961年从中分出，单独成坣头大队；1984年改乡，1987年为村委会，1989年起称管理区办事处，1998年又改回村委会。[2]
地理与经济[edit]
村的东面是优冲，西面是霞埔和原聚，北到洪厝东洋，南界梅陇农场。县道X127沿线经过各自然村。户籍约460户，常住210人。耕地1000多亩，主产水稻，另有鱼塭1100亩，养鱼、虾、蟹、蚝；集体收入靠鱼塭发包，租金用来替户籍人口买基本医疗保险。[1]
荣誉[edit]
省爱卫会2021年12月命名的广东省卫生村中有该村。[2]
