坡平村在联安镇西南部，由7个自然村组成，面积3平方千米，是省定红色村，村内的亚前彭村是海陆丰农民运动的重要据点之一。[1][3]

革命史[edit]

县政府网站的联安镇历史文化介绍写道：彭元璋、彭元岳等人在1922年支持彭湃发动农民，亚前彭村随之办了农民学校；次年建农会，再过两年（1925年）编成农民自卫军中队，1926年秋再设中共亚前彭支部，书记是彭元岳。农会以该村为中心，向梅陇三区一带的大嶂、港口、后港、港尾等村发展，开展减租减息、兴修水利，自卫军扩大到200多人，参加了攻打梅陇区公署、海丰县城和第三次起义。该村当时仅170名左右村民，据称有81人被反动势力杀害。[3]

如今坡平红色村已挂牌为红色文化教育基地，是鹭影禾香示范带的节点之一。[1][4]

沿革与经济[edit]

坡平乡于1984年设立，几年后改作村委会，1990年一度叫管理区办事处，1998年恢复村委会之名。[2]耕地3200多亩，其中高标准农田2600亩，种水稻，也种玉米、西兰花、大包菜、莲藕。[1]

荣誉[edit]

村情介绍把坡平归入三类：创建社会主义新农村的省定贫困村示范点、省定的红色村、省基层党组织建设的示范村。[1]2019年10月，列入当年的广东省卫生村名录；2026年1月，坡平列入广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村。[2]
