名称与沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，新中国成立前，这里地势低，一下大雨便成一片水泽，久而久之成了烂草塘，适合养鸭，叫鸭池塘。[1]

1949年建国初为鸭池村农会，1950至1957年改称大队；1963年起设鸭池乡，至1986年；此后叫管理区，1999年定为村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

  • 2026年1月，该村被评为广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
  • 2024年1月，该村被确定为2023年度广东省民主法治示范村（社区）。[1]
  • 2022年度广东省乡村治理示范村的创建单位名单在2023年4月公布，该村在列。[1]
