甘塘村在梅州市兴宁市叶塘镇境内，是镇属的行政村。[1]

名称与沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，相传这里曾有一个近千亩的大湖，叫甘塘湖，湖边种着柑树，村名由此而来。该村由兴宁市人民政府批准，设立于1999年。[1]

1949至1957年为甘塘乡，1958至1983年为甘塘大队，1983至1986年设政府，1986年起称管理区，1999年称村民委员会，名称沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

  • 广东省爱卫会在2021年12月评定该村为当年的广东省卫生村。[1]
