双红村位于兴宁市大坪镇，大革命时期属苏区，村名为纪念红色政权而起。[1]

名称与沿革[edit]

此地在大革命时期是苏区。新中国成立后，为纪念当年红色政权的建立，定名双红。[1]

1949年称村农会，1950至1957年称大队，1963至1986年称乡，1986年后设管理区，1999年起定名为村委会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

龙母嶂在双红村与罗岗镇潘洞村之间，是道教风景区，主峰双头山海拔668.2米。[2]

2019年9月，双红村入选省「民主法治示范村（社区）」2018年度创建单位。[1]
