朱坑村是兴宁市大坪镇的村，原称回龙村，因朱姓迁入后逐渐成为大姓而改名，村内有桂安围。[1]

名称与沿革[edit]

村域地势西北高、东南低，溪水自西向东流入宁江。早先叫回龙村，居民姓氏不一；朱姓迁来之后，其他姓氏有的外迁，有的没了传承，朱姓成为多数，村名遂改为朱坑。[1]

建置方面，1922至1932年为朱坑保，1944至1958年属坪南乡，1958年10月至1978年8月为朱坑大队，1978年9月至1987年4月为管理区，1987年5月起称朱坑村，1999年起定名为村委会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

桂安围在村内，建于清道光二十年（1840年），是兴宁市文物保护单位，详见大坪镇条目。[2][3]

2019年9月，朱坑村入选省「民主法治示范村（社区）」2018年度创建单位。[1]
