上河岭村在兴宁市大坪镇，因河长岭多得名河岭，后分出上、下两个村。[1]

名称与沿革[edit]

当地有一条较长的河，又有山岭，起初叫河岭。为便于行政管理，河岭被分为下河岭与河塘两个管理区；因与坭陂镇一个管理区重名，又改称上河岭，1999年定为上河岭村委会。[1]

2019年9月，上河岭村入选省「民主法治示范村（社区）」2018年度创建单位。[1]
