廉峰村属兴宁市永和镇，由新廉村与华峰村并成，各取“廉”“峰”一字得名。[1]

建置沿革[edit]

廉峰先后为乡（1951年）、管理区（1961年）、生产大队（1963年）、乡（1984年至1987年）、村（1987年4月）、管理区（1989年9月），1999年4月复称村。[1]

丝苗米是该村的专业村产业，2021年9月入选第二批「广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」。[1]
