永生村在兴宁市永和镇，由和龙寨、细坑袛、石古寺三个村合并而成。村名取永宁乡的“永”与“三”字，方言里“三”“生”同音，“永三”遂写作“永生”。[1]村内的文蔚第是梅州市文物保护单位。[2]

建置沿革[edit]

黄陂堡是新中国成立前的旧称，此后依次属永宁乡、大池管理区（1961年）；1963年成立永生生产大队，1978年大队合并并入永和人民公社，1983年为永生乡，1999年起为永生村委会。[1]

文蔚第[edit]

文蔚第在永生村双塘片，是清同治年间由温氏十五世祖文蔚所建的客家围屋，三堂四横四角楼，占地2707平方米，有3个堂、11个厅、75间房和9个天井，屋内曾办私塾并集资兴办日新学校。[2]兴宁市人民政府2009年8月10日将其列为市级特色古民居保护单位；梅州市人民政府2015年2月5日又将其列入第三批市级文物保护单位。[2][1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月公布的2018年度名单上，该村为「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。[1]
