和新村是广东省梅州市兴宁市宁中镇下辖的行政村。[1]人民公社时期新分出一个大队，寓意村民和平相处，称“和新”。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

建国之初，和山大队划出一块另立和新大队；1978年两者重又合并，称和山乡；到1987年再度分开，成立和新管理区，1999年起叫和新村委会。该村原属宁塘镇，2004年11月起归宁中镇。[1]

荣誉[edit]

和新村在2019年6月列入第五批中国传统村落名录，2026年1月又被评为广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

村里的墩仔下屋建于明天顺五年（1461年），列为兴宁市县级文保单位。[2]

百度百科记该村位于镇东部，离镇政府4公里，户籍人口2113，农户533，耕地共902亩（水田761亩），村里有小学、卫生站各一所。[3]
