地名由来与历史沿革[edit]

寨前有一口占地数十亩的大池塘，寨先叫超塘寨，后改称超群寨。[1]

村级建制的变迁：1949年为一乡，1958年公社化时叫作大队，1988年易名为管委会，1999年易名为村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

  • 2026年1月，超群村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
  • 2023年2月，超群村获「2022年度五华县文明村镇」称号。[1]
