地名由来与历史沿革[edit]

此村原叫望楼墩：村西有一座小山丘，登上去能望见全村的楼屋，故得此名。因与横陂圩仅一墙之隔，解放后改称横陂。[1]

村级建制的变迁：1949年为横陂乡，1958年建有横陂大队，1983年易名为横陂乡政府，1989年叫作横陂管理区，1999年易名为横陂村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

  • 2026年1月，横陂村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
