历史沿革[edit]
村的建制从1958年公社化时的长布大队起步，1984年成为长布管理区，1999年再改设村民委员会[1]。
人口与经济[edit]
据博雅地名网所载，全村在册341户、1766人，总面积10平方千米，耕地820亩；种植的经济作物主要是仙人草、甜玉米、沙田柚，特色收入来源为辣椒、番薯粉丝，上一年农村经济总收入905万元[1]。
荣誉[edit]
2017年10月，省爱国卫生运动委员会评出首批省卫生村，该村名列其中；2019年9月，该村被列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单[1]。
