历史沿革[edit]

解放前属环清堡，解放后按方位位于西，因此称环西。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

博雅地名网载，全村辖12个村民小组，在册728户、4190人，总面积24.1平方公里，耕地1830亩；主要经济作物有青榄、红肉蜜柚，上一年农村经济总收入1200万元。[1]2021年9月，广东省农业农村厅公布的第二批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单中有环西村（红肉蜜柚）。[1]
