历史沿革[edit]

原属桐岽大队，1986年分出，此后依次称桐新大队（1986年）、桐新村（1988年）、桐新管理区（1989年后）、桐新村委会（1999年）[1]。

人口与经济[edit]

在册102户、463人，总面积19平方公里，耕地230亩，经济作物有香蕉、柑桔、绿茶，绿茶是村里的特色收入来源[1]。

荣誉[edit]

2020年8月，桐新村（油茶）列入「首批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」[1]。
