地名由来[edit]
据说村民旧时贫穷，常到别村讨食，像豺狗一样，村因此得名；20世纪80年代以后，人们觉得原名不雅，改取谐音，写作才口[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
此后称谓数变：才口乡（1986年）、才口村（1988年）、才口管理区（1989年）、才口村委会（1999年）[1]。
人口与经济[edit]
在册232户、988人，总面积14平方公里，耕地640亩，经济作物有花生[1]。
