圩镇社区是梅州市梅江区西阳镇政府驻地所在的社区，办公地在文化路。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

辖区内有明山嶂，旧称西洋山，后来「西洋」被写成「西阳」，西阳之名由此而来。博雅地名网引唐元和年间（806至820年）李立甫所撰郡县志，称程乡有西阳山、西阳水，地名得自山水；又引《大清一统志》，称西洋山峰峦周迎，一名九峰山，即今之明山。[1]
