历史沿革[edit]
据所载，约1555年陈氏最先在此定居，村名陈屋村；后陈氏迁走，徐氏自五华迁来，认为此处耕种可以得福，改称徐福田，后简称徐田。[1]
1986年设徐田管理区，1999年起为村民委员会。[1]
2025年2月11日，福田、长宁两镇合并，新镇沿用长宁镇之名，原福田镇不再单设。[2]
