上角村是霞涌街道下辖的行政村，2013年由义联村分立而成[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，明朝末年这里还没有人家居住，覃姓祖先原居霞涌老圩，人多地少，一部分人迁到比老圩略偏僻的高处建居，乡人称为上角，村名由此而来[1]。2013年12月6日，大亚湾区管委会批复义联村分立，上角成为独立的行政村[1]。

荣誉[edit]

广东省乡村振兴局在2022年1月把上角村列入「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位；2026年1月，上角村被评为「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」[1]。
