小金口街道是广东省惠州市惠城区下辖的街道，在区境中西部，南临东江，北靠象头山，办事处驻金青社区。[1]街道名称取自它所处的位置：这里是博罗县小金洞最南端唯一的出入口。[2]

百度百科记辖区面积64平方千米，下辖3个社区、7个行政村（截至2021年10月31日）；博雅地名网所列则为4个社区、7个行政村。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

民国年间，这里归博罗县第三区；1949年以后改隶博罗县第二区的汝湖乡，该乡后来成了公社。汝湖公社在1975年转由惠州市管辖。[2]

1981年8月30日，乌石、九龙、柏岗、金鸡、白石、小铁六个单位脱离汝湖公社，合设小金口公社。此后的名称依次是：区公所（1983年12月）、小金口镇（1987年4月）、小金口街道（2005年12月）。[2][1]

地理环境与人口[edit]

街道南靠东江，北倚象头山，属亚热带季风气候。[1]百度百科记2011年末户籍人口11.6万人；博雅地名网另记第七次全国人口普查（2020年）的人口为17.58万，在惠城区各街道、镇中居第3位。[1][2]博雅地名网所载辖区面积、办事处地址等概况文字夹杂了水口街道的内容，与小金口不符，本条目未采用。

据博雅地名网转载的街道概况，小金口是惠州连接珠江三角洲与粤东、赣闽方向的交通枢纽之一，京九铁路、广梅汕铁路在境内相交，广惠、惠河两条高速公路在此汇合，莞惠城际轨道设有总站。[3]2009年的数字是：地区生产总值28.7亿元，较上年增15.2%，另有工业总产值100亿元。[3]另据百度百科，2011年全街道的财政收入合计7200万元，增幅28%。[1]

2020年、2021年和2022年，小金口街道连续三年进入淘宝镇名单。[2]

文化[edit]

小金口麒麟舞流行于辖区各村，又称东江麒麟舞，是客家人从北方带来的民间舞蹈。它在2008年6月被惠州市列入第二批市级非遗，2009年10月又进了广东省第三批省级非遗，序号Ⅲ-3。[4]街道曾获「中国麒麟文化传承基地」称号。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

江倩墓位于白沙堆村，又称「国家坟」，是惠州保存完好的一座元代古墓，1996年公布为市、县级文物保护单位。[5][6]据博雅地名网，墓的规模较大，量得12.6米乘7.6米，万历三十五年（1607年）曾重修。[2]

著名人物[edit]

博雅地名网把宋代道士陈楠列为小金口人。[2]维基百科称他字南木，号翠虚，又号陈泥丸，惠州人，是道教金丹派南五祖之一，也被神霄派奉为雷法祖师之一，著有《翠虚篇》等。[7]
