麦地社区是惠州市惠城区桥西街道下辖的社区，位于市区南部，以居民住宅为主。[1]

地名与沿革[edit]

社区名的「麦地」本作「脉地」，取风水宝地之意。[1]居委会于1986年6月设立，起初的办公地点在麦地直街68号。1993年8月，横江、下埔两个居委会从中分出；2001年4月又分出花边岭居委会；2004年12月调整社区时，黄田岗社区也有一部分来自麦地。办公地点后来迁到马庄路40号，2010年3月再迁马庄路42号。[1][3]

概况[edit]

社区总面积1.8平方公里，居委会的简介称常住人口（含流动暂住人口）为7475户、24800人，辖内有大小街巷21条、住宅小区23个、机关企事业单位66个，马庄路、麦地路、麦地南路穿过辖区，学校、幼儿园、派出所、医院、市场等设施较为齐全。[2]

2024年12月，麦地社区被评为惠州市2024年度绿色社区。[1]
