历史沿革[edit]

1958至1962年分作万石大队和大岗畜牧场，1963年合为一个大队，名称各取万石、大岗中的一字；1983年改乡，1987年改称万岗村委会。[1]

经济[edit]

据博雅地名网，村内耕地1210亩、山地886亩，有362户、1345人。种植沙塘桔、甘蔗，开采矿石，并完成了卫生村和生态文明村建设。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2026年1月获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
