地名与沿革[edit]

文昌、六户两村于1950年合并，新名取「对人民有益」之意。[1][2]1950年文昌、六户两村合为民益；1958年设生产大队，1985年称乡人民政府，1987年定为村委会。[3]

经济与社会[edit]

耕地1996亩，林地5000亩，以水田和山地为主；村民收入来自种养业和外出劳务。村有党员48人。[1]
