地名与沿革[edit]

以辖区内的大林片村得名；1987年经封府（1987）16号文批准成立村委会。[1][2]村级组织几经更名：1950年是农民协会，1953年成农业合作社，1959年成生产大队，1984年一度称乡政府，到1987年定为村委会。[3]

经济与社会[edit]

村中劳动力以外出务工为主；耕地以水田和山地为主，山上种速生桉和生态林，水田种水稻、花生、甘蔗。村有党员49人。[1]
