地名与沿革[edit]

以辖区内的开祥片村得名；1987年经封府（1987）16号文批准成立村委会。[1][2]1953年称民声乡，1959年设开祥生产大队，1983年更名开祥乡，1987年定为村委会。[3]

经济与社会[edit]

耕地2130亩，林地3840亩；耕地以水稻、柑、大蒜和蔬菜为主，大蒜为特色产业。村有党员54人。[1]
