白垢镇是广东省肇庆市封开县下辖的镇，在县境中部，镇政府设在白垢社区，离县城江口32千米。[1][2] 全镇辖1个社区和6个行政村（截至2021年10月）；博雅地名网另把陈村村与湻村村分列，称辖8个村委会和1个居委会。[1][3] 镇名取自驻地白垢圩。[3]

2019年末，镇内户籍人口为15902人。[1] 贺江自镇境流过，镇上以沙糖桔、贡柑等水果种植和贺江养鱼为主要产业。[4]

历史沿革[edit]

明清两代，这一带属封川县文德乡。[1] 白垢在1960年成立人民公社，1983年改设为区；建镇的年份说法不一，博雅地名网记为1986年，百度百科记为1987年由白垢区改为白垢镇。[1][3]

白垢社区的名称，博雅地名网解释为壮语地名：「白」是口，「垢」音近「沟」，指河，合起来指河流交汇处的村落。[5]

地理环境[edit]

白垢镇位于麒麟山南麓的丘陵地带，东经111°37′、北纬23°31′。东部和东北部同渔涝镇相邻，东南与杏花镇接壤，南面是罗董镇，西南是江口，西北是大洲镇，北面是都平镇。[1][4] 博雅地名网记载全镇面积142.3平方千米，耕地12494亩，山地172659亩，水域9599亩；百度百科的面积数字为141.45平方千米。[1][4] 镇内气候属亚热带季风气候。[1]

贺江穿镇而过，江上的白垢电厂和江口电站各形成一处水库区，水流缓、水质清，可作网箱养殖。[4] 镇内还有4座大中型水电站，一处镇属变电站。[4]

经济[edit]

据博雅地名网，白垢镇的农业分为水果、水稻、水产、甘蔗、松脂、蚕桑、竹木、肉桂八个生产基地，农副产品以沙糖桔、贡柑、红菇、麒麟山茶、鱼仔干和河鲜见称。[4] 镇内蕴藏白石、钨等矿产，尚待开发。[4] 小水电以及商业、饮食、服务业也在发展。[4]

2019年，镇内有工业企业10个，营业面积50平方米以上的综合商店或超市8个。[1] 县城江口至白垢、白垢至渔涝的公路当时正在改建为三级水泥路，村村通公路。[4]
