五合村是封开县江川镇西南部山区的行政村，距镇政府9公里，2008年总人口1616人。[1]2020年8月以菠萝入选首批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村，2022年1月又被确定为「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位。[1]

地名与沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，村原叫五星大队，是1957年公社化时，将花粮、合塘、三贯、小丹、周源五个农业合作社并成一个大队而来。1980年开展地名普查，由于县里另有两个大队也叫五星，才改称五合大队。此前1950年设乡民会，1953年为乡人民政府，1958年为生产大队；1987年起为村民委员会。[1]

经济与社会[edit]

耕地合计1496亩，水田1269亩，旱地215亩；林地20925亩。全村有花根、新村、合塘、三贯、周源、小丹6个自然村，共分20个村民小组。居民收入主要来自水稻、水果和林业。2008年集体收入21000元，党员40人。[1]
