新泰村是封开县江川镇南部山区的行政村，距镇政府7公里，2008年总人口1554人。[1]新泰村在2023年4月公布的「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位名单之列。[1]

地名与沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，解放前，管理区办事处所在的这一带称修泰乡；公社化时期改称新泰大队，村名由此而来。建制几经变化：1950年为乡民会，1953年为乡人民政府，1955年低级社，1957年高级社，1958年生产大队，1987年起为村民委员会。[1]

经济与社会[edit]

耕地合计1745亩，水田1172亩，旱地585亩；林地10600亩。村民小组共6个：古岗、六田、古斗、古垒一、古垒二和古垒三。居民收入主要来自水稻、水果和林业。2008年集体收入1500元，党员37人。[1]
