界首村是封开县江川镇北部的行政村，临西江，与广西梧州市郊区相连，距镇政府12公里。[1]2008年总人口2550人。[1]

地名与沿革[edit]

村地处广东与广西交界，故名界首。[1]人民公社成立的1958年，各社并为一个大队；1983年叫界首乡；1987年起为村委会，一直沿用。[1]

经济与社会[edit]

全村有耕地1338亩，水田占1220亩，旱地103亩；林地面积为22594亩。村民小组共10个，分别是歧茶、盐关、胡琅一和二、旺塘冲、仙田、周家、六竹、大元、胡林冲。居民收入以水稻和林业为主。2008年集体收入5500元，党员41人。[1]2019年9月，该村名列2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

吴廷举墓在本村大园的虎山，是明代南京工部尚书吴廷举的墓地，墓前存有成对的石人、石虎、石羊和石华表。[2]
