江川镇是广东省肇庆市封开县南部的一个乡镇级建制，西江自其东面和东北面流过，与县城隔江相望，南邻平凤镇，北与广西梧州市万秀区交界。全镇面积120.08平方千米，2019年末户籍人口12751人，镇政府设在豆腐坑孟塘村。[1]江川乡于1993年改为镇，共辖1个社区和7个行政村，名单见下文。百度百科现已将其标为已撤销的镇。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

清代，这一带属封川县的修泰乡。[1]据博雅地名网，1969年设江川公社，1983年公社改区，1986年建乡；[2]百度百科记载，1993年2月江川乡改为江川镇。[1]

百度百科把江川镇列为已撤销的镇，同时在平凤镇的条目中说平凤镇北面与江川镇接壤；博雅地名网现在则把豆腐坑社区及各村列在平凤镇名下。[1][2]这些资料对调整的时间和方式都没有说明。

地理环境[edit]

江川镇地处封开县南部，属丘陵山区。镇境东、北两面濒临西江，南界平凤镇，西北方向则连着广西的苍梧县和梧州市。[1][2]镇政府到县城城区的距离，百度百科记为3千米，博雅地名网记为6公里。[1][2]

博雅地名网所引的2008年数字为：山地约13.83万亩（山林12.31万亩），耕地约1.03万亩（水田0.78万亩）。[2]

2008年全镇共3226户、11873人；[2]2019年末户籍人口12751人；[1]而按第七次全国人口普查（2021年6月公布）的结果，常住人口为7200人，在封开县各街道乡镇中居第16位。[2]

经济[edit]

2008年，工业总产值为808万元，农业总产值为8839万元；农村人均纯收入4861元，镇级财政预算收入29.6万元。[2]到2019年，镇内工业企业共12家，规模以上的仅1家。[1]下辖各村多以水稻、蔬菜、水果和林业为主要收入，菠萝在裕丰村、五合村被列入2020年首批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单。[4][5]

名胜古迹[edit]

吴廷举墓在界首村大园的虎山，墓向朝南，面积约800平方米，依山势而建，墓壁用红砂岩砌成太师椅的形状，坟用灰沙夯筑，墓碑已不存。墓曾两次被盗，地面建筑已毁，保存下来的只有红砂岩雕的石人、石虎、石羊和石华表，各为一对；石人没有了头，残高1.82米。[6]吴廷举是明代官员，生于梧州，成化二十三年（1487年）中进士，最高做到南京工部尚书，死后谥清惠。[7]
